Ullswater Catchment Management CIC is a small organisation with a big impact
They work with farmers and landowners to improve flood resilience and the natural environment.  One of the first projects of 2025 was to prevent a lakeside path in the  Lake District from washing away and becoming dangerous for walkers.  They planted trees so that the roots would bind the bank together.  They fenced off the tress to protect them until they were established.  They installed an information board to explain to people what was happening. In April the fine weather brought  the first big influx of visitors and campers.  Many of the young trees were torn out or burnt.

Next January we will plant more trees.  This work costs money. I am offering these oil paintings for sale to support that work.  They are all 40x50cm

If you are interested please email maggielearmonth@gmail.com with an offer above £100, stating which painting, or for more information.
